Snapchat Hacked
A site called SnapchatDB.info published a list of 4.6 million usernames and their associated phone numbers that was hacked from Snapchat. We tried to reach SnapchatDB.info but we found that the site was already suspended due to excessive amount of traffic.

Mashable's Contributing Editor +Anita Li asked +Evan Spiegel (CEO Snapchat) about this hack on Twitter. In reply Evan Spiegel said that they are working with law enforcement. Here is how this conversation went on twitter:-

However, the SnapchatDB hackers said that they censored the last two digits of users' phone numbers in order to minimize spam and abuse, its a big relief for Snapchat users. SnapchatDB hackers also said that they have stored uncensored Snapchat database at multiple locations.

Snapchat is one of the most popular messaging apps in the market and teenagers are using it more than Facebook and other apps. It has over 100 million users, most of them are teenagers. To acquire those teenage users Facebook offered a buyout offer to Snapchat CEO in Nov 2013 but Snapchat refused this massive $3 billion offer.
