Game Freaks, Get Ready! Sony PS4 is Coming to India

For all game freaks there is a good news, Japanese conglomerate company Sony announced the launch of its brand new PlayStation 4 gaming console in India on Wednesday. The Playstation 4 will be available in India from January 6, 2014 and it will be priced Rs 39,990.

Play Station 4 is powered by an integrated CPU-GPU design, it has an 8-core low power x86-64 AMD "Jaguar" CPU coupled with a 1.84 TFLOPS AMD Radeon GPU. Its controller is dubbed with "DualShock 4" and will have a touch pad too. The Sony PS4 will also have a secondary processor which will does the network processing tasks in standby mode, by using this technique this processor uses less power.

Its configuration includes a 500GB hard disk drive, 8GB of GDDR5 RAM for memory, a Blu-ray disc and DVD drive. Connectivity options include AUX port, an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 (EDR), an HDMI out port, 2 USB 3.0 ports and an optical-out port.

The device will also have features like touchpad, face recognition and social media integration. By using share button Dualshock 4 wireless controller you can share images and videos with other players in activity feeds.

Sony had sold 1 million units of its new PlayStation 4 gaming console in the first 24 hours after it launched in US and Canada. In next three weeks, it sold more than 2.1 million units in North America. These statistics shows us that people are going crazy for Sony PS 4, now we have to wait till January 2014 to experience the awesome gaming experience in India.
