Snapchat Refused $3 billion offer from Facebook

According to Wall Street Journal growing mobile messaging company Snapchat refused a buyout offer of $3 billion from Facebook on Wednesday. Recent study stated that teenagers are moving to other social platforms instead of Facebook, perhaps this is reason Facebook offered a 3 billion USD deal to Snapchat but Snapchat declined this. If Snapchat had accepted this offer then it would have been Facebook's largest acquisition ever.

This 2 year old app Snapchat which allows its users to send photos to friends which automatically disappear after a few seconds, is growing exponentially among teenage users. Snapchat currently has over 100 million users along with over 350 million pictures sent every day through this messaging app.
