The Next Version Of Aakash Is Coming Soon


The upcoming version of the world's cheapest computer tablet Aakash will brag features near to Google Nexus 7, but comparatively could be more costly than the current price of Rs 2,263.

Aakash 4 will be an improvement version over Aaksh 2 as its specification includes internet connectivity via WiFi and 2G, 3G, or 4G, a minimum of 1GB DDR3 RAM, 4GB internal storage and support for up to a 32GB micro SD card. Indian government is also planning to enable support for Internet dongle, external keyboard-mouse, USB to Ethernet adapters and USB printers in the device.

Aakash 4 will weigh less than 500 grams along with a 7-inch display screen. It has dual-bootable operating system (Ubuntu distro along with Android Jelly Bean). Its battery will support at least three hours for online video playback and minimum five hours on web browsing.
