There are so many smartphone companies doing business in Indian market. Brand like Samsung, Nokia, Sony, HTC are facing such tough competition given by Mimcromax, Lava, Karbonn etc.
During this competition an interesting study has come up which states that Indian smartphone maker “Micromax” has become India’s top mobile seller for quarter 2 in 2014. Micromax has ousted South Korean Electronics giant “Samsung” by capturing 16.6% market share. On the other hand Samsung managed to capture 14.4% market share which is lower than the first quarter 16.3%.
These statistics shows that Samusung is somewhere is losing its position in Indian smartphone market. While on the other hand small companies like Lava, Karbonn are performing well.
Motorola has also made an impact in Indian smartphone market with the launch of Moto G, X and E, we have to say these phone have received quite good response by consumers.
Apart from it, Micromax also jumped up at the 10th posistion in the list of largest smartphone seller by volumes. Micromax has gained a huge success by lauching back to back low cost phones as it know the nature of Indian smartphone consumers.
